When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the systems is used.

1. PRECAUTION
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
If the pretensioner has been deployed, replace any damaged parts as necessary.
2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
for Power Captain Seat:
Operate the rear power seat switch and move the ottoman to the uppermost position and seatback to the frontmost position.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
