PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Remove the 2 front seat headrest assemblies RH.

Remove the bolt.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle RH and move the front seat assembly RH forward.

Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction and detach the clip, claw and guide and remove the front seat inner leg cover.

Place your hands at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction and detach the clip and guide and remove the front seat rear leg cover RH as shown in the illustration.


Hide 6.REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Remove the 3 bolts.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle RH and move the front seat assembly RH backward.

Remove the 2 bolts.


d.

w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

for Van, w/ Seat Belt Warning System:

Disconnect the connector under the front seat assembly RH.



f.

for Wagon:

i.

Disconnect the 2 connectors under the front seat assembly RH.



g.

Remove the front seat assembly RH.

NOTICE:
·

2 or more people are required when carrying the front seat assembly RH out of the vehicle.

·

Protect the front seat leg.

·

Be careful not to damage the front seat assembly RH, body exterior or body interior.
