DOOR / HATCH  POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM  INITIALIZATION  

RESET SLIDE DOOR CLOSED POSITION

NOTICE:

Initialization of the slide door motor unit (slide door ECU) (slide door initial position learning) is necessary if the following work procedures are performed while the slide door is open.

·

The cable to the negative (-) battery terminal is connected.

·

A power source system fuse of the power slide door system is disconnected and reconnected.

·

The slide door motor unit is replaced or the connectors are disconnected.

The power slide door does not operate unless the slide door motor unit (slide door ECU) is initialized.

HINT:

·

Initialization is not necessary if the above procedures are performed while the slide door is closed.

·

When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, some systems need to be initialized after the negative (-) battery terminal is reconnected.
