HINT:

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

After turning the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.

When replacing the battery, use a new battery of the same dimensions with a capacity of 70 Ah or more at a 20-hour rate.

Turn the 2 knobs right to release the lock and remove the door scuff plate cover.

Place your hands as shown and pull toward the outer side to remove the front battery service hole cover sub-assembly LH.


Hide 4.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Insert a screwdriver into the gap, detach the claw and remove the 2 outside door scuff plates.

Detach the 2 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.

Hold the top part of the battery service hole cover sub-assembly LH and tilt it toward the outer side.

Lift it further up and remove the battery service hole cover sub-assembly LH.
