When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the systems is used.

1. PRECAUTION (for First Row)
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
If the pretensioner has been deployed, replace any damaged parts as necessary.
2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for First Row)
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

3.REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
Remove the No. 1 seat headrest assembly LH.

7.REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
for First Row:
Disconnect the 2 connectors.
When disconnecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:
for Second Row, w/o Power Supply Unit:
Disconnect the connector.
for Second Row, w/ Power Supply Unit:
Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.
Remove the bolt.

Using moulding remover A, detach the claw and open the cover as shown in the illustration.
Use the same procedure for all covers.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the 2 bolts and rear seat assembly LH.
2 or more people are required when carrying the rear seat assembly LH out of the vehicle.
Do not damage the rear seat assembly LH, seat rail, body exterior or interior parts.
