1. PRECAUTION (w/ Rear Curtain Shield Airbag)
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Curtain Shield Airbag)
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

11.REMOVE CENTER SLIDE DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY LH
Open the slide door to the position where it is furthest from the vehicle.
Make sure not to open the slide door too far. Otherwise, it will be difficult to pull out when removing the slide door rail.
Remove the 2 bolts.

Pull the center slide door hinge assembly LH out from the center slide door rail sub-assembly LH and remove it.
Support the lower portion of the slide door LH when disconnecting the center slide door hinge assembly LH, as the slide door LH becomes unstable.
Work with 2 or more persons when connecting the slide door LH in order to prevent deformation and damage.

12.REMOVE CENTER SLIDE DOOR RAIL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Pull the rear end of the slide door away from the vehicle until the slide door rail can be pulled out (approximately 300 mm (11.8 in.) from the vehicle body).
Hold the slide door securely so that it does not fall.
Make sure not to pull the slide door out too far.
for Standard Roof:
Remove the 5 nuts.
for High Roof:
Remove the 6 nuts.

Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.
Pull the rear end of the center slide door rail sub-assembly LH in the direction (1) indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and pull out the stud bolt on the side.
Pull the front end of the center slide door rail sub-assembly LH in the direction (2) indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, pull out the stud bolt and remove the slide door rail.
Do not damage the vehicle body with the center slide door rail sub-assembly LH.

13.REMOVE SLIDE DOOR RAIL PROTECTOR LH
When removing the slide door rail protector LH, heat the slide door rail protector LH using a heat light.
