Air conditioning system After the ignition switch is turned to ON, the servo motor standard position is recognized. -

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.



NOTICE:

Make sure to use Toyota Genuine Windshield Glass Adhesive (High Modulus Type) or equivalent.

PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Pull back the No. 1 slide door weatherstrip LH so that the rear quarter trim board assembly LH can be removed.

Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the No. 3 cooler air duct.

Detach the guide and remove the side window panel reinforce.

Protective Tape


Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.

NOTICE:

When separating the rear side window assembly LH from the vehicle, be careful not to damage the vehicle paint or interior/exterior ornaments.

i.

Place matchmarks over the glass and vehicle body at the locations indicated in the illustration.


ii.

Install the suction cups to the rear side window assembly LH.

From the interior, insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and glass as shown in the illustration.


d.

Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends.

NOTICE:

When separating the glass from the vehicle, be careful not to damage the vehicle paint or interior/exterior ornaments.



e.

Cut through the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the rear side window assembly LH.


f.

Using suction cups, disconnect the quarter window glass spacer and rear side window clip LH and remove the rear side window assembly LH.

NOTICE:

Do not drop the rear side window assembly LH.
