When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Before removing the rear air conditioning unit, set the air conditioning to FOOT mode.



PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Bend the liner inward and detach it from the stud bolts to remove the rear wheel house liner RH.

Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose inlet E.

NOTICE:
·

Do not apply excessive force to the water hose and heater water hose inlet E.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose outlet G.

NOTICE:
·

Do not apply excessive force to the water hose and heater water hose outlet G.

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction pipe D.

Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant suction pipe D.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D.

Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.

Disconnect the drain cooler hose.

Disconnect each connector.


e.

Disconnect the harness clamp to disconnect the wire harness.


f.

Remove the 3 bolts B.


g.

Detach the guide and remove the air conditioning blower assembly.
