DOOR / HATCH  POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM  Power Slide Door RH does not Operate When Using Inside / Outside Handle  


DESCRIPTION

The slide door motor unit RH (slide door ECU RH) receives signals from the inside handle or outside handle in the slide door lock remote control assembly RH and performs power slide door open or close operations.

1.READ VALUE USING GTS
a.

Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the slide door lock remote control assembly RH.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDE DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY RH - SLIDE DOOR MOTOR UNIT RH [SLIDE DOOR ECU RH] AND BODY GROUND)
a.

Disconnect the U3 slide door lock remote control assembly RH connector.


b.

Disconnect the S4 slide door motor unit RH (slide door ECU RH) connectors.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
U3-1 (DS1) - S4-8 (DS1) Always Below 1 Ω
U3-2 (DS2) - S4-7 (DS2) Always Below 1 Ω
U3-3 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
U3-1 (DS1) or S4-8 (DS1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
U3-2 (DS2) or S4-7 (DS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
