SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS  AIRBAG SYSTEM(for Type B)  B165B  2nd Seat Seat Belt Buckle Switch (RH)  


DESCRIPTION

The seat belt buckle switch RH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly and rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

DTC B165B is stored when a malfunction is detected in the seat belt buckle switch RH circuit.

Turn the ignition switch off.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

Check that the connectors are properly connected to the airbag sensor assembly and rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.

Using a service wire, connect terminals 29 (RBR+) and 30 (RBR-) of connector B.

NOTICE:

Do not forcibly insert the service wire into the terminals of the connector when connecting a service wire.



g.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

h.

Disconnect the service wire from connector B.
