PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
a.

Disconnect the I186 navigation receiver assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the I72 telematics transceiver connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
I186-15 (VOR+) - I72-17 (VOT+) Always Below 1 Ω
I186-16 (VOR-) - I72-33 (VOT-) Always Below 1 Ω
I186-15 (VOR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
I186-16 (VOR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

Remove the telematics transceiver with the connectors still connected.
