SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS  AIRBAG SYSTEM(for Type C)  B1675  Rear Floor Airbag Sensor  


DESCRIPTION

The side collision sensor RH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly, No. 1 side airbag sensor RH and rear floor side airbag sensor.

The rear floor side airbag sensor detects impacts to the vehicle and sends signals to the airbag sensor assembly to determine if the SRS should be deployed.

DTC B1675 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the rear floor side airbag sensor or airbag sensor assembly.

PROCEDURE

1.REPLACE REAR FLOOR SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR
a.

Turn the engine switch off.


b.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.


c.

Replace the rear floor side airbag sensor.

Perform the inspection using parts from a normal vehicle if possible.
