The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the rear cooling unit assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

i.

Remove the 2 bolts.


ii.

Disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D and cooler refrigerant suction pipe D.

*2 Cooler Refrigerant Suction Pipe D


for High Roof:

i.

Using a double wrench, remove the union nuts and disconnect the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D and cooler refrigerant suction pipe D.



e.

Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe D and cooler refrigerant suction pipe D.

NOTICE:

Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent the entry of moisture and foreign matter.



f.

for Standard Roof:

i.

Disconnect each connector.

ii.

Detach each clamp and remove the vehicle wire harness.


iii.

While supporting the rear cooling unit assembly to prevent it from falling, remove the 6 bolts. Then, while moving the rear cooling unit assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, remove the front mounting position from the vehicle roof reinforcement and remove the rear cooling unit assembly.

for High Roof:

i.

Disconnect each connector.

Detach each clamp and remove the vehicle wire harness.


iii.

While supporting the rear cooling unit assembly to prevent it from falling, remove the 6 bolts. Then, while moving the rear cooling unit assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, remove the front mounting position from the vehicle roof reinforcement and remove the rear cooling unit assembly.
