After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

3.REMOVE ROOM LIGHT BRACKET
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disengage the 2 guides to remove the room light bracket.

4.REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.
Be careful not to drop the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.
5.REMOVE FRONT SLIDING ROOF HOUSING MOUNTING BRACKET LH
Remove the 2 bolts and front sliding roof housing mounting bracket LH.
6.REMOVE FRONT SLIDING ROOF HOUSING MOUNTING BRACKET RH
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
7.REMOVE REAR SLIDING ROOF HOUSING MOUNTING BRACKET LH
Remove the 2 bolts and rear sliding roof housing mounting bracket LH.
8.REMOVE REAR SLIDING ROOF HOUSING MOUNTING BRACKET RH
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

9.REMOVE SUNSHADE HOUSING ASSEMBLY
Remove the 7 nuts and sunshade housing assembly.
Do not damage the sunshade housing assembly or vehicle interior.

10.REMOVE REAR ROOF HEADLINING GARNISH
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear roof headlining garnish is necessary.
Disengage the 4 clips to remove the rear roof headlining garnish.
