SLIDING ROOF / CONVERTIBLE  PANORAMIC FIXED MOONROOF WITH ONE-TOUCH FROSTED GLASS CONTROL SYSTEM  INITIALIZATION

INITIALIZE ROOF SUNSHADE (for LONG TYPE PANORAMIC FIXED MOONROOF)

NOTICE:
·

When the sunshade trim sub-assembly is adjusted or removed/installed, or the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is replaced, the known roof sunshade position is lost. If initialization has not been performed, the position of the roof sunshade will deviate and the auto-operation function and jam protection function will not operate. For this reason, it is necessary perform initialization (pulse sensor initial position setting) of the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly).

·

When performing initialization, do not add electrical load or cause large vehicle movement such as when opening or closing a door, or driving the vehicle (a vehicle speed signal of 5 km/h or more), etc.

HINT:

The roof sunshade switch is located in the map light assembly.
