DOOR / HATCH  POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM  INITIALIZATION  


INITIALIZE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU


NOTICE:

Initialization of the multiplex network door ECU (back door initial position learning) is necessary if any of the following have been performed with the back door open.

·

The cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

·

A fuse of the power back door system power source circuit has been removed and installed or replaced.

·

The multiplex network door ECU is removed and installed or replaced, or a connector is disconnected.

·

The power back door unit assembly set LH/RH is removed and installed or replaced.


The power back door system will not operate unless the multiplex network door ECU has been initialized.


HINT:
·

Initialization is not necessary if the above have been performed with the back door closed.

·

When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, some systems need to be initialized after the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal is reconnected.
