WINDOW / GLASS  POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM  Rear Power Window RH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH  


DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH. The rear power window regulator motor assembly RH has motor, regulator and ECU functions.

If the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.

1.READ VALUE USING GTS (RR-DOOR MOTOR)
a.

Using the GTS, read the data for the condition when the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH was operated.

Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH)
a.

Disconnect the K2 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.


b.

Disconnect the K5 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
K2-5 (UP) - K5-10 (UP) Always Below 1 Ω
K2-4 (DOWN) - K5-7 (DOWN) Always Below 1 Ω
K2-5 (UP) or K5-10 (UP) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
K2-4 (DOWN) or K5-7 (DOWN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
