When performing disassembly for the rear door, disconnect the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal after fully opening the rear door glass.

Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Remove the release plate of the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove the rear door lock with motor assembly LH.
