The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the roof rack bracket removal/installation are shown below.

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Remove the 2 bolts and roof rack bracket.

NOTICE:

The roof rack bracket and bolt must not be reused.


HINT:

Use the same procedure for the every roof rack bracket.

Using a screwdriver, remove the inner roof rack retainer and rear roof rack bracket.
