SEAT  FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Separate Seat Type)  INSTALLATION

HINT:
·

Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

·

The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

·

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

·

The following procedure is for the LH side.



PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

a.

Place the front seat assembly LH in the vehicle.

NOTICE:
·

2 or more people are required when reinstalling the front seat assembly LH to the vehicle.

·

Protect the front seat legs.

·

Do not damage the front seat assembly LH, body exterior or interior parts.




b.

w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

i.

Connect the front seat airbag assembly LH connector under the front seat assembly LH.

NOTICE:

When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

c.

Connect each connector under the front seat assembly LH.


d.

Temporarily install the front seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle LH and move the front seat assembly LH to the rearmost position.


f.

Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque:
39 N*m (398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)

Operate the seat track adjusting handle LH and move the front seat assembly LH to the frontmost position.


h.

Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque:
39 N*m (398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)


Hide 71139U 2.INSTALL FRONT SEAT REAR LEG COVER LH

Attach the claw and clip and install the front seat rear leg cover LH.


Hide 71910F 3.INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH

a.

Install the front seat headrest assembly LH.
