MAINTENANCE  7GR-FKS BATTERY  INSTALLATION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 28800 1.INSTALL BATTERY

a.
A437092

Install the battery to the vehicle.


b.
A437091

Install the battery clamp with the 2 bolts.

Torque:
10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)


c.

Connect the cable to the positive (+) battery terminal and tighten the nut.

Torque:
5.3 N*m (54 kgf*cm, 47 in.*lbf)


d.

Close the connector cover.


Hide 58408F 2.INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Install the battery service hole cover sub-assembly LH to the vehicle with the 5 bolts.

Torque:
13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)


Hide 67914B 3.INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

Attach the 2 claws and install the front door scuff plate LH with the 6 bolts.


Hide 67912A 4.INSTALL OUTSIDE DOOR SCUFF PLATE

Install the 2 outside door scuff plates to the front door scuff plate LH.


Hide 5.CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and tighten the nut.

Torque:
5.3 N*m (54 kgf*cm, 47 in.*lbf)


Hide 58207E 6.INSTALL FRONT BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Install the front battery service hole cover sub-assembly LH to the side of the battery service hole cover.

Install the door scuff plate cover to the side of the front door scuff plate assembly LH and turn the 2 knobs left to lock it.
