When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the systems is used.

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

If the pretensioner has been deployed, replace any damaged parts as necessary.



Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for First Row)

Disconnet the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Disconnect the connector of the occupant detection sensor.

Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the connector of the occupant detection sensor.

HINT:

Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.



f.

Remove the separate type rear seat cushion cover with pad.
