7GR-FKS FUEL FUEL INJECTOR(for Port Injection) REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during port fuel injector assembly removal/installation are shown below.

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Air conditioning system After the ignition switch is turned to ON, the servo motor standard position is recognized. -
- CAUTION:

Never perform work on fuel system components near any possible ignition sources.
·Vaporized fuel could ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
·
Do not perform work on fuel system components without first disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
·Sparks could cause vaporized fuel to ignite, resulting in a serious accident.
PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
- NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

5.REMOVE FUEL DELIVERY WITH SENSOR PIPE ASSEMBLY
- NOTICE:
- ·
Do not remove the fuel pressure sensor from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
·If a fuel pressure sensor is removed, replace the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly (fuel pressure sensor) with a new one.
Disconnect the 3 connectors.
Disconnect the No. 1 fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts and fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly with the 6 fuel injector assemblies from the intake manifold.
- NOTICE:
- ·
Be careful not to drop the port fuel injector assemblies when removing the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
·When removing the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly, hold the pipe by both ends and pull it straight upward.
Remove the 4 No. 1 delivery pipe spacers from the intake manifold.
Remove the 6 injector vibration insulators from the intake manifold.

6.REMOVE PORT FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY
- NOTICE:

For reinstallation, attach a tag or label to the injector shaft.
for Bank 1:
Detach the clamp from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
Remove the 3 port fuel injector assemblies from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the 3 port fuel injector assemblies.

Remove the O-ring from the port fuel injector assembly.
for Bank 2:
Detach the clamp from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
Remove the 3 port fuel injector assemblies from the fuel delivery with sensor pipe assembly.
Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the 3 port fuel injector assemblies.
