When storing the front seat airbag assembly RH, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Disconnect the airbag wire harness from the seat cushion side:

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the airbag wire harness, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.


i.

Detach the claw and disconnect the airbag connector.


ii.

Detach the wire harness clamp.

Disconnect the airbag wire harness from the seatback side:

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the airbag wire harness, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

Detach the wire harness clamp.

Remove the nut and front seat airbag assembly RH together with the No. 2 airbag bracket.

CAUTION:
·

Do not reuse the nut.

·

If the installation surface or surrounding area of the front seat airbag assembly RH is deformed or damaged, replace the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH with a new one.

Remove the 2 nuts and No. 2 airbag bracket from the front seat airbag assembly RH.

CAUTION:
·

Do not reuse the nut.

·

If the No. 2 airbag bracket is deformed or damaged, replace it with a new one.
