The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the No. 2 ion generator sub-assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

a.

for Rear Air Conditioning:

i.

Detach the clip.

Detach the claw and remove the rear air duct sub-assembly.



b.

for Rear Cooler:

i.

ii.

Detach the claw and remove the rear air duct sub-assembly.

i.

Disconnect the connector from the No. 2 ion generator sub-assembly.


ii.

Remove the 3 screws and ground wire.


iii.

Detach the guide and remove the No. 2 ion generator sub-assembly.

i.

Remove the 3 screws and ground wire.
