BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER)  BRAKE BOOSTER(for RHD)  INSTALLATION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 44785 1.INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET

a.

Install a new brake booster gasket to the brake booster assembly.


Hide 44610 2.INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

a.

Install the brake booster assembly to the vehicle body with the 4 nuts.

Torque:
12.7 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not apply excessive force to the brake lines.



Hide 5.INSTALL BRAKE LINE

Engage the 2 clamps and install 2 new brake tube clamps to the vehicle body.

for Manual Transmission:

Engage the 4 clamps to connect the brake lines and clutch line to the brake tube clamp.

for Automatic Transmission:

Engage the 3 clamps to connect the brake lines to the brake tube clamp.

Engage the 4 clamps to connect the brake lines and clutch line to the brake tube clamp.

Engage the 3 clamps to connect the brake lines to the brake tube clamp.


Hide 82111 6.CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

Connect the connector to the vacuum sensor.

Connect the connector to the vacuum warning switch assembly.

Connect the brake booster hose to the brake booster assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

NOTICE:
·

When connecting the brake booster hose, face the paint mark up.

·

Make sure that the tabs of the clip are facing upward.
