DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

for Multi-information Display Type:

If the VSC OFF switch is pressed when the vehicle speed is 50 km/h or less, the system enters AUTO LSD mode and VSC operation stops. Also, the AUTO LSD indicator light and VSC OFF indicator light illuminate.

When the VSC OFF switch is pressed and held for 3 seconds or more with the vehicle stopped, the system enters VSC OFF mode and TRC and VSC operation stop. Also, a message indicating that TRC is canceled is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and the VSC OFF indicator light illuminates.

PROCEDURE

1.READ VALUE USING GTS (TRC(TRAC)/VSC OFF MODE)
a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


c.

Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Data List.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY - VSC OFF SWITCH)
a.

Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

OK:

The connector is securely connected.



b.

Disconnect the A28 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.


c.

Disconnect the N6 VSC OFF switch connector.


d.

Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.

OK:

No deformation or corrosion.



e.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
