·

When the vehicle is being driven in a straight line at a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more and VSC/TRC has permission to control vehicle braking, one of the following conditions is met when the difference between the highest wheel speed and the lowest wheel speed is 6% or more*1 for between 9 and 72 seconds or more (period changes depending on vehicle conditions):

-

When the difference between the highest wheel speed and the second highest wheel speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the wheel speed is high compared to other speed sensors.

-

The value of the wheel speed is continuously the slowest.

-

When the wheel speed is less than 5 km/h (3 mph).

·

When the vehicle speed is less than 100 km/h (62 mph), one of the following conditions is met when the difference between the highest wheel speed and the lowest wheel speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or more*2 for between 9 and 72 seconds or more (period changes depending on vehicle conditions):

-

When the difference between the highest wheel speed and the second highest wheel speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the wheel speed is high compared to other speed sensors.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN

NOTICE:

When performing the normal judgment procedure, make sure that the driver door is closed and is not opened at any time during the procedure.

HINT:
·

After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.

·

When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the "CLEAR PERMANENT DTC" procedure.

1.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

2.

Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

3.

Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).

4.

Turn the ignition switch off.

5.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and turn the GTS on.

6.

Wait for 1 second or more. [*]

HINT:

[*]: Normal judgment procedure.

The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.

7.

Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB* / Utility / All Readiness.

*: Electric Parking Brake System

8.

Check the DTC judgment result.

HINT:
·

If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.

·

If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.

·

If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.

Procedure to clear warning lights (When not clearing DTCs)
Procedure
1.

Repair or replacement.

2.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.

3.

Drive the vehicle at 11 km/h (7 mph) or more for 1 second or more to clear the warning lights.

PROCEDURE

1.PRE-CHECK
a.

Check that all 4 tires are of correct size, are inflated to the correct pressure, and do not show excessive signs of wear.

HINT:

If a tire is deformed or an incorrectly sized tire or wheel is installed, this DTC may be stored.
