DESCRIPTION

If the face ID cannot be cleared, it is suspected that the combination meter assembly or navigation receiver assembly is malfunctioning.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.


PROCEDURE

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT
a.

Check for DTCs.

Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes
50001 409

OK:

DTCs are not output.

HINT:

The face ID setting screen can be displayed by entering the Personal Center > Face ID Setting of the navigation system.
