Refer to PRECAUTION WHEN PERFORMING FACE ID REGISTRATION/FACE REGCOGNITION before performing face ID registration/face recognition.

When clearing a driving position, clear the face ID by entering the Personal Center > Face ID Setting > Face ID Unbinding on the navigation system.



HINT:

In the following text, driving position refers to both the seat position and mirror position.


PROCEDURE

Hide 1. ADD/REGISTER DRIVING POSITION (except Reverse Shift-linked Mirror Position)

a.

When the face ID is not registered:

i.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


ii.

Operate the navigation screen and log into the Baidu account.

HINT:
·

Log in by entering the Personal Center of the navigation system.

When it is not possible to log into a Baidu account:

Click hereAudio / Visual / Telematics>NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY>NAVIGATION SYSTEM>PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE




iii.

Operate the navigation screen and register a face ID to the Baidu account.

HINT:

A face ID can be registered by following the directions of the Personal Center > Face ID Setting.



iv.

Register the driving position to the face ID.

1.

Adjust the driving position.

2.

Move the shift lever to a position other than P and then to P again.


HINT:

The driving position is registered to the face ID when the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved to P from a position other than P.




b.

When face ID is registered:

i.

Turn the ignition switch from off to ON.


ii.

Face in the direction of the cabin object recognition camera until recognition is complete.


iii.

Register the driving position to the face ID.

1.

Adjust the driving position.

2.

Move the shift lever to a position other than P and then to P again.


HINT:

The driving position is registered to the face ID when the ignition switch is ON and the shift lever is moved to P from a position other than P.




Hide 2. ADD/REGISTER DRIVING POSITION (for Reverse Shift-linked Mirror Position)

a.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


b.

Open and close the driver door.


c.

Face in the direction of the cabin object recognition camera until recognition is complete.

HINT:

The driving position is recalled when face recognition is complete.



d.

Move the shift lever to R.*


e.

When the mirror surface is moving via the reverse-linked mirror function, adjust the mirror position using the mirror switch.

HINT:
·

If the operation fails, perform the procedure again from *.

·

Adjust the mirror position using the mirror switch to memorize the final position.
