1.INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
Temporarily install the transmission floor shift assembly to the vehicle body with the 4 bolts.
Tighten the 4 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Engage the 2 clamps.
Connect the shift lock control ECU connector.
Connect the transmission control switch connector.

2.CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for GTMC Made)
Before connecting the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever is in N.

Slide the adjuster case cover in the direction shown by the arrow.

Using a precision screwdriver, pull out the lock piece of the adjuster case.

Turn the lock nut of the transmission control cable assembly counterclockwise. While holding the lock nut, push in the stopper.

Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.
After installation, check that the outer part of the stopper is as shown in the illustration.
Do not forcibly pull the transmission control cable assembly into the cabin.
Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.
Securely connect the end of the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.

Push in the lock piece of the adjuster case to lock it.

When pushing in the lock piece of the adjuster case to lock it, remove your hand from the lever shaft.
When pushing in the lock piece of the adjuster case to lock it, do not move the lever shaft or transmission control cable assembly forward or backward.

Move the adjuster case cover in the direction shown by the arrow.
If the adjuster case cover is not moved far enough so that the adjuster case cover engages the lock piece, the transmission control cable assembly will not be able to lock, and reliable shift operation will not be possible.

3.CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for SFTM Made)
Before connecting the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever is in N.
Push the 2 claws together at the top of the lock piece. While holding the 2 claws together, push the 2 lugs on the bottom of the lock piece toward each other and upward to push up the lock piece.

Turn the nut of the transmission control cable assembly 180° counterclockwise. While holding the nut in place, push in the stopper until it clicks twice.

Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly. Check that the spring is positioned at "A" and push in the stopper.

Connect in this Direction | - | - |
Install the transmission control cable assembly with the protrusion facing upwards.
After installation, check that the outer part of the cable lock is protruding beyond portion A-A as shown in the illustration.
Make sure that the transmission control cable assembly is securely locked.

Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the transmission floor shift assembly.
Check that the lock piece is pulled out.
Push the end of the transmission control cable assembly all the way to the base of the transmission floor shift assembly pin.
Connect the transmission control cable assembly so that the lock piece faces the driver side.

Push the lock piece into the adjuster case.
Check that the shift lever position sensor and shift lever are in N.
Securely push in the lock piece until the slider lock is engaged.

6.INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER
Engage the 2 claws to install the shift lock release button cover to the upper console panel sub-assembly.
7.INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION
