1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL BATTERY - POWER SUPPLY AND BODY GROUND)
a.

Disconnect the E48 door control battery connector.


b.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

a.

Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the power distribution box assembly.


b.

Reconnect the power distribution box assembly connectors.


c.

Reconnect the E48 door control battery connector.


d.

Turn the ignition switch off.


e.

Wait approximately 30 minutes. (Wait for the door control battery discharge to complete.)

HINT:

Depending on the state of charge of the door control battery, the discharge time may be shorter.
