DOOR / HATCH HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

1.INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.
Engage the grommet.
Engage each clamp to install the hood lock control cable assembly.

2.INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

3.INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

4.INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

5.INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

6.INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the hood lock assembly.
Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock assembly.
Install the hood lock assembly with the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.
- Torque:
- 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf)
- HINT:

The hood lock nut cap is a non-reusable part. Be sure to install it after inspecting and adjusting the hood sub-assembly.
w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:
Engage the clamp.
Connect the connector.
7.INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for GTMC Made)

8.INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
Install the 9 clips.
Install the 2 grommets and 5 screws.
Install the front fender liner LH with the 2 clips and 3 screws.

Install in this Direction |
Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
Install the front bumper assembly with the 2 clips.
