a.

If the vehicle is outside the communication service area, move the vehicle into a communication service area, wait for a while and perform the operation again.

Clear the DTCs.

Read value using GTS.

i.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


ii.

Turn the engine switch on (IG).


iii.

Turn the GTS on.


iv.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Data List.


v.

According to the display on the GTS, read the "Data List".

The TOYOTA Connect support center will perform an investigation and provide the results.



ii.

Check the problem symptoms after receiving a call from the TOYOTA Connect support center.

Disconnect the I72 telematics transceiver connector.


b.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

I72-20 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω



c.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
I72-1 (+B) - I72-20 (E) Always 11 to 14 V
I72-19 (IG2) - I72-20 (E) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
