DESCRIPTION

The telephone microphone assembly RH is connected to the navigation receiver assembly via voice recognition microphone 2 signal detection line.

This DTC is stored when the navigation receiver assembly detects disconnection of telephone microphone assembly RH.

PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY RH - NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
a.

Disconnect the T3 telephone microphone assembly RH connector.


b.

Disconnect the I185 navigation receiver assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
T3-5 (SNS2) - I185-21 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
T3-4 (MO2-) - I185-18 (MI2-) Always Below 1 Ω
T3-5 (SNS2) or I185-21 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
T3-4 (MO2-) or I185-18 (MI2-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

2.INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (MI2-)

a.

With the navigation receiver assembly connectors connected, disconnect the T3 telephone microphone assembly RH connector.


b.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
T3-4 (MO2-) -Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
