The following procedure is for the LH side.



PROCEDURE

Hide 81270 2.REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

a.

for TFTM Made:

i.

Disconnect the connector.


ii.

Disengage the claw and guide to remove the license plate light assembly.



b.

for GTMC Made:

NOTICE:

If the license plate light assembly has been removed, replace the license plate light packing with a new one.


i.

Disconnect the connector.


ii.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light assembly.



Hide 81274B 3.REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LIGHT PACKING (for GTMC Made)

Remove the license plate light packing.

NOTICE:

Do not reuse the removed license plate light packing. Be sure to install a new license plate light packing to prevent water ingress.

Insert a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape into the license plate light lens hole, tilt it as shown in the illustration and disengage the 2 claws to remove the license plate light lens.

Remove in this Direction


Turn the housing with the license plate light bulb as shown in the illustration to remove them as a unit.



b.

Remove the license plate light bulb from the housing.
