PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
for Radio and Display Type:

When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
-A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
-The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.
·When performing the following work, the audio and visual system may restart when turning the ignition switch to ACC (due to radio and display receiver assembly certification).
-Repair or replace the negative (-) battery terminal due to it being disconnected or depleted.
-The radio and display receiver assembly replacement or removal and installation.
w/ Navigation System:

When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
-A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
-The radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU may not operate normally.
·When performing the following work, the navigation system may restart when turning the ignition switch ACC (due to radio and display receiver assembly and navigation ECU certification).
-Repair or replace the negative (-) battery terminal due to it being disconnected or depleted.
-The radio and display receiver assembly or navigation ECU replacement or removal and installation.

5.REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

6.REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

7.REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

8.REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY
9.REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type)
Remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the 2 bolts.

Remove in this Direction |
Place both hands at the position shown in the illustration, pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the guide and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
Disconnect each connector.
10.REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type)
Remove the 2 bolts.
Remove the 2 bolts.

Remove in this Direction |
Place both hands at the position shown in the illustration, pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the guide and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket.
Disconnect each connector.

Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
w/ Navigation System:
for Type A:
Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
for Type B:
Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.

w/o Navigation System:
Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 radio bracket.
w/ Navigation System:
for Type A:
Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
for Type B:
Remove the 5 screws and No. 1 radio bracket.
