PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
PRECAUTION FOR AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM
When replacing the radio and display receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio and display receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
The radio and display receiver assembly may not operate normally.
When performing the following work, the audio and visual system may restart when turning the ignition switch to ACC (due to radio and display receiver assembly certification).
Repair or replace the negative (-) battery terminal due to it being disconnected or depleted.
The radio and display receiver assembly replacement or removal and installation.
When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one. (w/ Telematics Transceiver)
