Hide Display 17751 7.REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 air cleaner inlet.

Hide Display 44360 8.DISCONNECT VANE PUMP OIL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the vane pump oil reservoir assembly.

Hide Display 16470 9.REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

	Radiator Reserve Tank Hose
	Bolt

Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose.

Remove the 2 bolts and radiator reserve tank assembly.

Hide Display 16571C 10.REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

Slide the clips and remove the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly and water outlet.

Hide Display 16572D 11.REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet sub-assembly with thermostat.

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

Detach the clamp and remove the No. 2 radiator hose.

Hide Display 16711 12.REMOVE FAN SHROUD

Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fan with fluid coupling assembly.

Remove the fan and generator V belt.

Detach the claws.

for Automatic Transmission:

Detach the clamp and disconnect the oil cooler inlet hose.

Remove the 4 nuts of the fan with fluid coupling assembly.

Detach the guides.

Remove in this Direction

Remove the fan shroud together with the fluid coupling assembly as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:: Do not allow the radiator assembly to interfere with other parts.

Remove the fan pulley from the water pump assembly.

Detach the clamp and disconnect the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock support brace sub-assembly.

Detach the claw, clip and remove the radiator side air seal LH.

Detach the claws and remove the radiator side air seal RH.

Remove the 2 bolts and center front bumper brace.

Detach the guides and remove the radiator protector.

Remove the bolt and disconnect the engine room main wire.

*2	Hood Lock Control Cable Assembly

Remove the 4 bolts.

ii.

Detach the clamps and disconnect the engine room main wire and hood lock control cable assembly and remove the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

NOTICE:: Do not allow the cooler condenser assembly to interfere with the radiator assembly. (w/ Air Conditioning System)

for RHD:

Remove the 4 bolts.

ii.

Detach the clamps and disconnect the engine room main wire and hood lock control cable assembly and remove the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

NOTICE:: Do not allow the cooler condenser assembly to interfere with the radiator assembly. (w/ Air Conditioning System)

Hide Display 32921D 25.DISCONNECT OIL COOLER INLET HOSE (for Automatic Transmission)

Slide the clip and disconnect the oil cooler inlet hose from the radiator assembly.

Hide Display 32922A 26.DISCONNECT OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE (for Automatic Transmission)

Slide the clip and disconnect the oil cooler outlet hose from the radiator assembly.

Hide Display 16400 27.REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

w/ Air Conditioning System:

Remove in this Direction

Remove the radiator assembly from the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:: ·

Perform the following procedure with 2 or more people to prevent damage to the radiator assembly.

·

When removing the radiator assembly, do not damage the cooler condenser assembly.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

w/o Air Conditioning System:

Remove in this Direction

Remove the radiator assembly from the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:: ·

Perform the following procedure with 2 or more people to prevent damage to the radiator assembly.

·

Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.

Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly.

Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly.
