2.INSTALL REAR AXLE BEARING CASE O-RING LH
Install a new rear axle bearing case O-ring LH to the rear axle housing.
3.INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT WITH BACKING PLATE
| *1 | Union Nut Wrench |
| *a | Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length |
Install the rear axle shaft LH with backing plate with the 4 nuts.
Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.181 in.)) + SST (fulcrum length of 200 mm (7.874 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 255 mm (10.039 in.)): 31.5 N*m (321 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf)

7.CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
| *1 | Clip |
| *2 | Union Nut Wrench |
| *a | For use with union nut wrench |
Install the rear brake flexible hose with a new clip.
Securely install the clip completely.
Secure the flexible hose with a wrench, and using a union nut wrench, connect the brake tube to the rear brake flexible hose.
Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
Do not allow foreign matter or dust to enter the brake tube connection.
Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.378 in.)): 13.4 N*m (137 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
| *A | for except Wagon |
| *B | for Wagon |
Install the brake tube bolt.
8.BLEED BRAKE LINE
9.INSTALL REAR WHEEL
10.ADJUST PARKING BRAKE
