RM35X0E _51 Engine / Hybrid System _078825 STOP AND START _0382334 STOP AND START SYSTEM J

STOP AND START  STOP AND START SYSTEM  Neutral Position Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

for Automatic Transmission:

The engine stop and start ECU uses the park/neutral position switch assembly installed to the automatic transmission assembly to detect when the shift lever is in P or N.

for Manual Transmission:

The neutral position switch detects whether the shift lever is in neutral. When the shift lever in any position other than neutral, stop and start control is prohibited.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:
·

Before replacing the engine stop and start ECU, read the number of starter operations and write it into a new engine stop and start ECU.

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>STOP AND START>STOP AND START SYSTEM>REGISTRATION

·

After replacing the engine stop and start ECU or air conditioning amplifier assembly, reset and perform learning of the air conditioning information in the engine stop and start ECU.

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>STOP AND START>STOP AND START SYSTEM>REGISTRATION

·

After replacing the engine stop and start ECU or airbag sensor assembly, clear and calibrate the deceleration sensor zero point in the engine stop and start ECU.

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>STOP AND START>STOP AND START SYSTEM>REGISTRATION

·

for Automatic Transmission:

When the engine stop and start ECU or electromagnetic oil pump is replaced, check the electromagnetic oil pump.
