Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.



Hide 62414A 12.REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

a.

Remove the rear side of the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH so that the lower center pillar garnish LH can be removed.

b.

for Slide Door Side:

Remove the front side of the No. 1 slide door weatherstrip LH so that the lower center pillar garnish LH can be removed.





Hide 89831A 13.REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR

a.

Check that the ignition switch is off.


b.

Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:
·

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Remove the bolt.

NOTICE:
·

Loosen the bolt while holding the No. 1 side airbag sensor because the No. 1 side airbag sensor guide is easily damaged.

·

If the No. 1 side airbag sensor has been dropped, replace it with a new one.

Detach the guide to remove the No. 1 side airbag sensor.
