Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Service Bulletin.



PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the engine switch on (IG).


c.

Turn the GTS on.


d.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.


e.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

a.

Remove the FR FOG relay.


b.

Disconnect the B6 fog light assembly LH connector.


c.

Disconnect the B5 fog light assembly RH connector.


d.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
5 (FR FOG relay) - B5-2 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
5 (FR FOG relay) - B6-2 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
5 (FR FOG relay) or B5-2 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
5 (FR FOG relay) or B6-2 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

2 (FR FOG relay) or 3C-25 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
