SEAT  FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat)  INSTALLATION

HINT:
·

Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

·

The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.



PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

a.

Place the front seat assembly LH in the vehicle.

NOTICE:
·

2 or more people are required when reinstalling the front seat assembly LH to the vehicle.

·

Protect the front seat legs.

·

Do not damage the front seat assembly LH, body exterior or interior parts.




b.

Tilt the front seat assembly LH backward.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the front seat assembly LH or interior parts.



c.

w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

i.

Connect the front seat airbag assembly LH connector under the front seat assembly LH.

NOTICE:

When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

for Type A:

d.

Connect the other 2 connectors under the front seat assembly LH.


e.

Temporarily install the front seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.


f.

Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly LH to the rearmost position.


h.

Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque:
39 N*m (398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)


i.

Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the front seat assembly LH to the frontmost position.

Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque:

Attach the claw and clip and install the front seat rear leg cover LH.
