DESCRIPTION

The integration control and panel assembly communicates with the air conditioning amplifier assembly via LIN communication.

If the LIN communication system malfunctions, the air conditioning amplifier assembly does not operate even if the integration control and panel assembly is operated.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
a17-5 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

Disconnect the N44 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the a17 integration control and panel assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
N44-20 (RLIN) - a17-7 (RLIN) Always Below 1 Ω
N44-20 (RLIN) or a17-7 (RLIN) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
