Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Pretensioner and Force Limiter)


CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

·

If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, push the buckle button to release the lock and disconnect the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

HINT:
·

Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

·

Use the same procedure for the RH side.

Place your hands at the position and pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration and detach the claw.

Pull in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration and detach the guide and remove the cover.

Protective Tape


Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, pull out the locking button to release the lock to disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

Detach the guide and remove the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.
