2.CLEAR DTC

B

GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

2.CLEAR DTC
a.

Turn the ignition switch off.

b.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

CAUTION:

Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

c.

Replace the side airbag pressure sensor LH with a new one or known good one.

Click hereVehicle Interior>SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS>SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR (for Front Door)>REMOVAL

HINT:
·

When using a new part, since the side airbag pressure sensor RH and LH have the same part number, prepare either one.

·

Use the prepared side airbag pressure sensor to check the side airbag pressure sensor RH as well.

d.

Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

e.

Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.

f.

Clear the DTCs stored in memory.
