BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS  ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM(for HEV Model)  C11781C  Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Voltage Out of Range  C117828  Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Signal Bias Level Out of Range / Zero Adjustment Failure

DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via CAN communication.

HINT:
These DTCs may be stored if one of the following occurs:
·

Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) installation abnormality.

·

Yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal malfunction.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area MIL DTC Output from Note
C11781C Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Voltage Out of Range
·

The value (forward and rearward G) of the acceleration sensor is less than -14.6 m/s2 or more than 14.6 m/s2 for 3 seconds or more.

·

When the vehicle is being driven and the stop light switch assembly is OFF, the value (longitudinal) of the acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) is less than -4.0 m/s2 or more than 4.0 m/s2 for 20 seconds or more.

·

When the vehicle is being driven, the difference in the acceleration value (longitudinal) calculated using the speed sensors and the acceleration value of the acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) is less than -3.5 m/s2 or more than 3.5 m/s2 for 4 seconds or more.

·

When the vehicle is stopped, the value (lateral) of the acceleration sensor is less than -7 m/s2 or more than 7 m/s2 for 0.4 seconds or more.
