Place the front seat assembly in the cabin as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
·

2 or more people are required when reinstalling the front seat assembly into the vehicle.

·

Protect the front seat leg.

·

Be careful not to damage the front seat assembly, body exterior or body interior.

Connect the front seat airbag assembly connector under the front seat assembly.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.


HINT:

ii.

Connect the connector.


iii.

Engage the clamp.


iv.

Insert the 2 location pins of the front seat assembly through the 2 body holes, place the front seat assembly and make sure that the inner and outer seat tracks are locked securely.


v.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.


vi.

Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly.


vii.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the frontmost position.


viii.

Temporarily install the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly.


ix.

Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position.


x.

Using a T50 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque:
37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)

While performing a sliding operation of the front seat assembly, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously.


ii.

If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the front seat assembly installation bolts and adjust the adjuster position.
