WINDOW / GLASS  POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM  Front Passenger Side Power Window does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch  


DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the front power window regulator motor assembly RH is operated by the power window regulator switch assembly. The front power window regulator motor assembly RH has motor, regulator and ECU functions.

If the power window regulator motor assembly RH has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.

1.READ VALUE USING GTS (P-DOOR MOTOR)

Using the GTS, read the data for the condition when the power window regulator switch assembly was operated.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH)
a.

Disconnect the I3 power window regulator switch assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the I7 front power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
I3-5 (UP) - I7-10 (UP) Always Below 1 Ω
I3-4 (DOWN) - I7-7 (DOWN) Always Below 1 Ω
I3-8 (AUTO) - I7-4 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω
